Oakley Splice or Oakley Crowbar?
Im getting new snowboarding googles soon. Im trying to decide whether to go splice or crowbar. I like that you can customize the crowbars but when I tried a pair on they kinda pinched my nose and the splices are supposed to help with that so I’m kinda torn… plus any lens recomendations for sunny days would help im looking at the fire iridium
If you are looking at fire iridium lenses, then you are doing it just for the look. They are the most pointless lens EVER. Unless it is sunny every day, and you don’t ride in flat light conditions(westcoast), then you can get them. But in almost every condition, they are useless. I’d recommend the VR28 lens since it is the most versatile day lens.
As for the Splice vs Crowbar, the goggles are very similar. Personally, I’m getting the Splice because of the reinforcement to prevent your nose getting pinched.
